Granted, the app isn’t exactly ‘new’. Flix Vision released back in January, however, not many people know about it! If I am being honest, I hadn’t heard about it too, until recently.

What is Flix Vision?

Flix Vision is an entertainment app for Android or Amazon Firestick.

Flix Vision provides access to stream Movies and Shows on streaming devices. By using Flix Vision app, you gain access to a huge library of Movies and Shows that can be streamed to any Android device, including the Amazon Firestick.

In addition to that standard content, you can also use Flix Vision to watch Live TV too.

Flix Vision is a modular search tool for content. It crawls movie/tv shows hosting websites and can find and return the videos hosted on those sites. Is Flix Vision safe to use?

One important point to mention, when installing Flix Vision apk is the Google Play Protect warning you will receive when installing the Flix Vision app.

This is common in some streaming apps, and may be flagged by Google Play Protect, or Virus Scanners on Android smart phones/Firestick.

As you can see from the screenshot below, you will get the following warning when installing the APK (Harmful app blocked):

FLIX VISION : This app is fake. It tries to take over your device or steal your data. Installing this app may put your device at risk.

Whilst this Flix Vision warning may look concerning, it does NOT try to steal your data. This warning presents itself, after the signing process, when the apk is compiled.

I had this problem with Nodi Fork too. If the developer chooses not to sign the app, no warning will be presented. But since the developer needs the app to be signed, which helps with your updates, it seems the signing presents the same warning as Nodi had.

Flix Vision is safe to download and install on Android smartphones, TV and Firestick devices.

There is no malicious code within Flix Vision, including malware. There is no code within the app that will attempt to steal your data.

The developer is working to resolve the issue with Google.

In summary – is Flix Vision APK safe to install on Android or Firestick? Yes – it is safe!

One warning you should be cautious of, is the fake Flix Vision website.

When new apps are released, fake copies and websites pop up too! And it is no difference with this app.

So, considering everything, including the app layout, the clean UI, easy to use features, and the mix of both live TV and movies/shows, I think Flix Vision is a great all-round app, and could possibly be one of the most popular apps to use on Firestick in 2024.

I’m looking forward to the new features, including Real Debrid, however, as mentioned, with the quality of the links, it really isn’t needed.

I would suggest using a VPN when streaming online, and it is important to check local laws, and if they are applicable.
