what do you mean, when you say, people have started getting letters? what letters? DMCA letters? or something else and is that while using express VPN?

I just got off a multi-hour session with them and they could not test or prove that their kill-switch works. I have a long chat transcript saved but the end result was that their Network Lock was NOT designed to stop internet traffic when VPN is not running….they even cut and pasted verbiage stating that it did do exactly that as evidence that it doesn't. It was sooo frustrating. After not being able to respond to my challenges regarding their senseless statements, in the end I was told that they would raise this concern with their management. If you are expecting to be safe when VPN stops working, don't. Based on my experience, it is questionable that their service works even when it is running.
Im using premium Express VPN.. doest it auto protect me in chrome browser when turned it on ?
So even if you pay for gig speeds thru comcast you can't use any of it with this VPN?
Hello Lee thank you for the awesome review regards ExpressVPN, I do really appreciate the effort, and please accept my thanks for sharing your experience with us regarding ExpressVPN. I’m live in Middle East where internet “as you know” is censored big time. From my humble experience, I have been using Hide.me for 6 years, never had an issue, I use MacOS as my daily driver, and Windows for other purposes. Hide.me offers the usual VPN protocols, OpenVPN, SoftEther, IKEv2, IKEv1, SSTP and L2TP. I found IKEv2 very fast and gives me 90% from my original internet Speed, so I stuck with IKEv2 must of my time. Recently “Hide.me” stopped working, so I didn’t pay for another year. I usually pay by year just Incase something happens and the VPN stops working. Last year I have tried NordVPN, 10 years back I used to be with VYPRVPN, I tried ExpressVPN, few that didn’t work unfortunately with me, due to My IPS throttles the connection. At the moment I’m very interested on ExpressVPN, but I was wondering about the Application in MacOS does still have only OpenVPN protocol or does it offer other protocols. Does the company offer IKEv2 as manual setup, or they have other options.
Would you kindly advise me between IKEV2 or OpenVPN as a MacOS user? What your thoughts, I’d appreciate it
express would be my 2nd choice after NordVPN. not bad tho!
