Gearbest was recently hacked which exposed over 280,000 customers persona info such as addresses, names, nationality, date of birth and even bank details!
This was an ethical hack, but is extremely worrying at what level of customer details were exposed in by hacking Gearbest database!

#rohas says hello. thanks for this! I found Gearbest had terrible customer service. They lied to me telling me they sent a replacement on an order I never received. When the replacement never arrived they told me they never sent it and asked if I wanted a credit. I told to issue the credit. They never did that either. I suspect an inside job here…they need to be investigated. I switched to Banggood after these incidents and have had no problems at all with them.

people should just use password managers and burner cards, but yes its a bad thing but it was a white hat group so no one knows if hackers knew or got a hold of this now that the info is put out there they might try to so hopefully gearbest has fixed it
