What android box would you recommend
Netflix ain't an issue since all content is available in third party apps for free in HD so netflix topic is irrevelant not many buy boxes for netflix ..one cant ask for more that this TV box with such a powerful chipset and specs saying with personal experience this is the best TV box out there right now from streaming to WiFi speed to gaming everything is fantastic.. Not to mention shield its still on other level with no match but a part from shield this is best of the best boxes
Hi Lee I received this box recently it's one of the best TV box out there no doubt extremely powerful chip set.. Gaming streaming fast net everything is remarkable my question is my box is working perfectly OK when turned on.. Even the 2 lights eyes are glowing on box and everything fine on TV display. but there is no clock WiFi display on TV box as in most boxes clock WiFi displays are there(you might be getting my point) .. Is my box defective or box clock display missing in this box?? Answer will be highly appretiated
LEE TV, Actually what matters to me is that I need a media center setbox that runs blu rays full, either 1080p or 4k, and can split the chapters as in the physical media, ie I can access the menu of this content, in my If it would be blu ray music shows in MKV format or BMDV format, blu ray same, does it do this? I live in Brazil, how could he?
So have they done an update to allow the installation of netflix since you did this unboxing review Lee ? , if not I suppose until they do , we could use the netflix kodi addon on this box ? also , on the subject of the 4K firestick ( which I am a lover of ) , I just signed up to britbox , works on my apple tv and my mecoolbb2 pro , but its blocked on the firestick duh, I tried downloading it from sourceforge, but when I open it on the stick it says its only available in usa , anybody found a downloadable version that will work on the stick ?
Hey and others in the know is they away of removing that start up skull logo when booting up, it might be cool for the young generated but not age appropriate for the little and old ones , it scares my kids stiff each time I boot it or start it up, Anyone in the know??
All in all This is really a the one of the best second generation TV box that has an option for updating it's self without fanky cables , true hi resolution, ample storage and relatively good and smooth interface..
Mine came with Netflix. Aside from an occasional sudden reboot when watching IPTV, it works amazingly well. I love the thing.
You basically have to fully commit to using apks if you are considering an android box that isn’t the shield
So no Netflix , or browser ?
i haven't found a device running Pure Android that allows paid subscriptions in 4K. Only Android TV OS runs paid subscriptions. if i'm wrong what device is that???

hello lee agree with u 100 % I dont understand why they cant improve the look and feel or make it an option for the consumer to do so cant play netflix or prime video which i think is unacceptable in todays market its a same because this box spec wise has everything needed to be a power house in 2019 the firmware for this box sucks and is outdated what the hell r they thinking

My box come off ebay(gt king) without the beelink tie wraps around the wires. Does that mean its probably snide(fake). What u think bro ??
This device has frustrated me for many reasons, even after the latest update "a few days ago" , its Android OS is not licensed, there are still problems with cursor /selection, there is occasional screen flicker once a day but not very noticeable, some apps and games controls/buttons cannot be changed or triggered by cursor /mouse, system dark theme is not working, when you write something in search field in chrome and is auto-completed and you want to select a given suggestion then it will not be selected "fake click" , although the GT king looks very good from outside but the software quality is questionable…
The most annoying issue of this device is the cursor click issues and/or placement shift of the cursor… in other words, mouse clicks are not accurate…….
Cost me £93 but it ain't that good. My 4k firestick is every bit as good.

Will Hulu and Amazon prime work on it as well?? I only use Netflix and Hulu and Amazon prime I dont use anything else my Roku 3 has be acting up an I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade to a Roku TV or this I won't go near fire TV stick not my thing
