Is there anyway of checking if a device is a counterfeit? I bought 2 Tx6 for our TV's and both really lag, it's not a nice experience or smooth to use at all. Youtube stutters really badly, it doesn't pick up 5GHz wifi, when you click some functions in settings very strange screens, that almost seem like programming interfaces comes up and the real function is not there. I have a fire TV which is about 7 years old and that is way way better, so I am concerned I bought I fake box, just not sure how to check if it is or not. The way it runs reminds me of a super cheap phone I bought in 2008.
does the T6X support voice input? If so, what input device would you recommend?
bad box, alice UX (the launcher that comes within) is as bad a most Tv launchers, no shortcut modifying , once u add an app shortcut, it s there and cant remove or relocate it, it will be until you clean wipe the user profile.
The UI is misaligned also, the cursor is on proper place but the click does not register until you try and hunt the invisible clickeable area.
also the box drops a single frame every 3 seconds or something, not a good android tv box upgrade… will ditch asap.
Can this thing also play of a NAS at 4K 60fps over the network?

Bought this box, it cannot play newer 4k videos on youtube. However, it plays saved 4k videos flawlessly using MX Player using HW mode.
What is an app that I can watch live tv with. (i.e. If i want to watch a baseball game live or Blue Bloods etc). I am not very techy and downloading Kodi was a nightmare.

TANIX TX6-problematic console ! 1. Chinese SPDIF, only a dummy, i.e.-there is a hole, there IS no digital audio signal inside the transmission unit. 2. when viewing or listening to music, a nasty crackle suddenly appears. 3. updating via the Internet is not possible. 4. there is no lower or upper bar (control panel).5. if you do not modify it, the CPU is very hot. In General: you should dance around it with a tambourine.

I loved this until I got a Visio TV and now the videos I see on Youtube are out of sync with the sound to the picture. Not sure what that is about.

grounding vle 5740 tv with tx6 . TV keeps turning on by itself after shutting down, after couple of seconds. Does anyone know where is the problem?
