Totally useless fucking box! It was good after it was released then Netflix, Stan and prime video put a block on these boxes. the box. big waste of my money and very disappointing! I tried to today Jul 2020 and same crap! i ended u[ purchasing an ANDROID TV with android 9 on it and no probs as it system updates and all apps work just fine!
Fck all these TV boxes no matter what brand the video companies have blocked all of them and the new ones that come out will work for a few months or less then they block those. So its either Smart android tv like i said. or get a NVIDIA Shield tv box.
Installed a small fan in the top and drilled a hole it blows down on the processor took power from the USB port soldered to the board it's worked perfectly for over a year does 4k really nice
The box is crap. Netflix and Amazone Video is not working.
Nope it isnt the best. Cause it is a black listed box for netflix and amazon prime. So a useless box, only for local use 🙁

Hey, great vid. Could you please do a vid on the top 5 android tv boxes? Maybe top 5 running android tv vs pure android as well. We all know The Shield is number 1. Just curious as to the rest.
Does it have a google certification? Does Netflix works on it?

I've been using this box for 1 year. Very smooth operation. Did have a problem with wifi at times as it wouldn't connect. But discovered it was a power adapter problem. Since then it's been fine. I have very good internet. Using 5ghz wifi I'm getting 280 up 180 down on this box. Also playing mid range android games is great. Although playing high graphic ps1 games not good. When this box first came out we had Netflix in 4k. But not being official box Netflix canned it. Who needs Netflix anyway. I side load movie apps etc. I would highly recommend this box as a mid range tv box.
Quick question if you dont mind: I use kodi probably about 2-3 hours a week should I get a vpn?

not worth it, since it doesnt run netflix aTV version
Mine lost the WiFi and lan connection after a couple months. Not a fan.
It is a great device
I've got this exact model. Still working great. Hasn't over heated at all. Plays games without any lag, and is very fast. The remote is terrible, but nothing is perfect.
