Hulu update now supports 1080p on Nvidia Shield

Hulu just received a new update that now offers 1080p support to the 2019 versions of Nvidia Shield TV devices. This is good news for Shield TV owners who can now stream in HD.
Hulu is one of the most popular streaming apps when it comes to Amazon Firesticks, or Nvidia Shields.
The downside is the lack of full HD support on later models.
Today, I noticed on Reddit that full HD support is now included on the 2019 versions of the Nvidia Shield TV.
The bad news is that 4K content is still missing, which is a big downfall when it comes to the Amazon Firestick, which does offer 4K streaming from within the Hulu app.
As mentioned by the above Reddit user, if you navigate to the ‘App and Device info’ screen, you will see content starting to display in 1080p as apposed to 720p. Many of the shows look much more crips in full HD.
